Just a few kilometers from Bologna and Ferrara, in the medieval village of Minerbio, immersed in the gentle landscape of the Emilian countryside, the new Elizabeth Hotel group facility is an oasis of charm and relaxation, in an area of great cultural and gastronomic traditions.
The large outdoor space is the heart of the facility, where the proposals for activities dedicated to guests are concentrated. Immersed in nature, in an expertly manicured and gentle-looking rural landscape, it is possible to enjoy a moment of relaxation, savoring a good wine, or to take part in yoga and mindfulness classes, pottery making or outdoor dance sessions, natural cooking classes and eco-conscious activities for adults and children, and wellbeing promotion initiatives aimed at corporate teams.
Once the summer home of a Bolognese family, the facility still retains the cozy and intimate charm of a family residence, surrounded by a large farm and ringed by centuries-old trees.

The facility, which has a large private pool, is divided into three villas, in which the 11 rooms are located: 3 initial rooms, 3 superior, 4 junior suites and a family suite. Each has a distinctive style, but they all share the large, bright spaces, frescoed ceilings and wall decorations, restored by decorator Carmen Avilia. The furnishings, some of which come from Le Copains family collection, were chosen by Fabrizio Cocchi, who oversaw the facility's interior design and is responsible for the refined elegance of the rooms.
Elizabeth Country House was conceived as a precious buen retiro from the tumult and cares of the world, where the hospitality philosophy, as thoughtful and discreet care for the guest and attention to his or her needs and aspirations, can be declined in an original way. It is the ideal place for those who feel the need to disconnect from everyday life and technologies, which want us to be constantly present and active, and to treat themselves to an inner journey in contact with nature and its rhythms. An experience very close to that concept of otium, by which the Romans meant contemplative rest, which regenerates the mind and enriches the soul.

Location
Landscape and nature, therefore, not only as a setting for an exclusive location, but as protagonists of the project, to be protected and enhanced with ethical choices that comply with stringent sustainability criteria. For this reason, photovoltaic panels have been installed to improve the facility's energy efficiency, along with adopting all the best practices to reduce the environmental impact. Also going in this direction is the choice to cultivate an organic vegetable garden, whose products can be used to offer guests genuine tasting experiences that respect the environment and the seasons.
Again with a view to enhancing the culture and artisanal knowledge of the area, the partners who participated in the project were chosen from among local excellences: Ceramiche Magnolia, a small artisanal workshop in Bologna that produced the collection of handcrafted ceramic table sets, and Cosmetica Bolognese, a young family-run artisanal company specializing in the production of natural-origin cosmetics from high-quality local ingredients, which produced the courtesy line available to guests.
